In February we informed you that a number of internationals would come to The Netherlands via ProjectKwadraat. Last week we welcomed Ernest. This week he started as a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
Start of the process
At the end of September we received an application from Ernest who indicated that he was looking for a challenge outside South Africa. After a positive first introductory meeting via Skype, we went through all the steps, such as the required documentation, financial expectations and potential clients. As always, we indicated that we eventually depend on our customers for interview invitations and for a final start. It is a matter of waiting for the right options.
A few months ago we received a job opportunity which was made for Ernest. Ernest was invited to the interview. For this meeting we held a preliminary meeting for the best possible preparation. The result of the interview was that Ernest was allowed to start in March!
Let’s start
This meant that all immigration and relocation procedures could be initiated. Many Skype calls followed to get everything ready. The formalities were arranged last week and this week Ernest started with some adjustments because of the corona virus. We wish him the best of luck and thank him for his confidence in our services!
