Last week we were pleased to welcome Javier and his family to the Netherlands. Again the result of the good cooperation between STAEL Recruitment and TailorMinds. As a result, we were also together at Schiphol Airport this time to welcome Javier and his family.
Good Impression
We learned through Stael’s client that Javier had left a good impression after his application. As a result, Javier was offered a job in which we were asked to manage the emigration. Together with colleagues from STAEL, we started preparations to make his arrival in the Netherlands possible.
Challenges differ by country
For the first time, we were able to do an emigration from Chile. Each country has its own challenges in terms of availability of government agencies and corresponding speed of action. In this case, getting the right stamps on marriage and birth certificates was the challenge. Through frequent online meetings, we shared and followed the roadmap. After the employment contract was signed and the official documents with stamps were in, we were able to submit the file to the IND. Everything turned out to be correct and the approval was in after a good week of waiting. After this, the tickets could be booked and the suitcases packed. Last week was the day.
Formalities
Through a former colleague, we found a house where Javier and his family can stay. The residence permit has now been collected and the appointment for registration at the municipality is scheduled. After this, the other formalities can be arranged such as applying for a bank account and arranging health insurance. Javier has now started at work, we wish him and his family all the best for the time ahead.
