We recently welcomed Austin as our new colleague. Austin joined our relationship and is currently working as Senior Process Engineer Manufacturing on her first assignment.
Received application
Following an application we received from Austin, we first got in touch with her. Given her relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and -development, we scheduled an introductory interview. Austin turned out to have a healthy dose of ambition in addition to relevant experience and knowledge. She was keen to take a new step in her career in which she could further develop the experience she had gained. During the meeting, we discussed the vacancy, her wishes for a new position and what TailorMinds could do for her.
Suitable position
Austin turned out to have the right background in relation to the content of the vacancy at our client. In consultation with her, we drew attention to her profile and an invitation for a job interview soon followed. During this interview, her previous experience and relevance to the organization were discussed in detail. Both Austin and our client looked back on the interview positively, after which a second round quickly followed. During this round, Austin was given the opportunity to speak with other people so they could also form a picture of her. In addition to the knowledge and experience she gained, they looked at whether Austin would fit in with the organization as a person. Of course, this was also a good opportunity for her to see if she would feel the same way herself. Ultimately, the interviews were concluded with the desire to start a collaboration.
Background
Austin already had several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in her home country. Several years ago, she came to the Netherlands to do her Master’s degree here. After completing this study, she continued her career in this industry and developed further in the field of ‘Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls’ (CMC) Management. She will take this experience with her in her new position and we wish her every success!
