Requirements

  • Vocational education in industrial, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, electronics or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Experience with various computer skills, such as MS Office and SAP.
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify the causes of problems and think outside the box to develop solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong technical skills with regard to pharmaceutical production equipment.
  • Proficient in reading mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams and drawings.
  • Good knowledge of safety, environmental and cGMP regulations.
  • Willingness to work shifts, overtime, public holidays and weekends.

Duties

  • Performing scheduled and unscheduled calibrations of production and facility equipment.
  • Documenting and checking the work performed in accordance with procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Proposing improvements to existing standard procedures for calibration methods and systems.
  • Increasing knowledge of the production process and the operation of equipment to assist in determining calibration needs.
  • Maintaining the calibration status of all measuring equipment and critical production equipment.
  • Assisting in the development of calibration and test methods for new and existing equipment.
  • Accurately completing all calibration test reports.
  • Identifying problems and reporting calibration errors.
  • Developing new standard procedures for the calibration of new equipment.
  • Ensuring that calibration reports are updated and stored so that they can be easily retrieved.
