Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience as a Mechanical Engineer preferably in a cGMP commercial manufacturing environment and understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven knowledge of utilities such as HVAC, medical gasses, and sanitary installations
  • Self-starter and strong team player.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings such as PFDs, floor plans, P&IDs and electrical schematics. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and transition between projects with ease while providing support and expertise where needed.
  • Strong attention-to-detail

Duties

  • Ensure Kite’s systems (facility, utilities, and equipment) operate in the most efficient and safe manner and comply with applicable laws, codes, and procedures.
  • Lead or participate in the change management process to support system design, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain maintenance and calibration plans throughout the systems’ lifecycle.
  • Identify critical spare part for systems.
  • Support the management of system documentation & drawing to ensure they are maintained throughout the system’s lifecycle. Lead or support cross-functional facility-related projects, such as expansions, upgrades, or new equipment installations.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for systems’ maintenance and upgrades, including managing service agreements. Implement risk management into the facility, utilities, and equipment activities.
  • Support or oversee quality records, including change controls, deviations and CAPA.
  • Participate in regulatory inspections and audits, providing engineering expertise and technical support.
  • Coordinate with Facility Engineers and teams across the Kite Network to share best practices, lessons learned and standardize processes.
