Requirements

  • Knowledge of a pharmaceutical or control production environment.
  • MBO or HBO degree (engineering, biology, medical lab research, chemical analyst), MTS or MLO), VAPRO A/B.
  • TMS-VRS level D certificate: toezichthoudend medewerker stralingsbescherming - verspreidbare radioactieve stoffen D. In case not achieved at start employment, this certificate must be obtained during the first year of employment (external course paid by Novartis IDB).
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
  • Experience with production or GMP – PRE.
  • Certification at TMS-D level is a pre.
  • Experience as trainer is a pre.
  • (be able to) Work in shifts.

Duties

Execution of the production process for radiopharmaceutical products:
  • Prepare and execute the production process of pharmaceutical products by operating equipment and performing manual tasks.
  • Execute chemical processes such as electrolysis and chromatography as part of the production process and responsibilities.
  • Prepare chromatography columns for the production process.
  • Prepare and execute the recycle line process including target ampoule preparation.
  • Clear and clean production line and equipment.
  • Identify unexpected incidents, condition or detail and escalate to production shift lead.
  • Remedying first line failures.
  • Keep up to date with training requirements.
  • May act as trainer to train colleagues.
