Requirements

  • Bachelor (process/technical) background
  • Knowledge of legislation of HSE; GMP; water/energy equipment legislation
  • Language and reporting skills: Netherlands; English
  • Minimal 5 years experience in technological/engineering field and project management
  • Minimal 5 years experience in Utility field
  • Adequate knowledge of HSE/footprint regulations/developments

Duties

  • Follow up on all (legal) requirements/policies related to the focus footprint elements energy and water and evaluate the consequences for the site incl. also all policies.
  • Maintain good relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Draft and implement a long-term energy/water consumption plan
  • Develop an annual action plan to reduce footprint (energy/water). Ensure projects are realised to reduce footprint according to plan.
  • Expert role (unique expertise) of and responsible for innovation/technological advice regarding new energy/water techniques in existing and new (capital) projects/adaptations/equipment.
  • Optimisation role regarding processes and realisation of energy/water targets.
  • Responsible for collecting energy/water usage data and proper (legally required) reporting, also input for energy contracts.
  • Responsible for footprint communication.
  • Long-term footprint plan, meeting legal requirements.
  • Coordinating/project leader/participating role regarding footprint (capital) projects/innovations.
  • Responsible for (legally required) reporting of footprint data to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a culture of sustainability awareness.
