In normal circumstances we would look for an inspiring place. Last Friday, the location was the online platform Teams. We are now quite used to this, although it never surpasses meeting each other live.<\/p>\n<h3>Serious Game<\/h3>\n<p>At the end of the afternoon program we played the \u201cSerious Game &#8211; Dealing with discriminatory requests\u201d. This quiz has been developed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbbu.nl\/nl\">NBBU<\/a> and helps to gain even better insight into what a discriminatory request is and what is not.<\/p>\n<p>At TailorMinds we were and are convinced that we do not discriminate in any way. Partly because we have been able to guide more than 22 nationalities to a beautiful new workplace in recent years. Yet the reality is a bit broader. Because the word discrimination is also seen as a catch-all term, it is good to test what it is really about. Together we thoroughly went through the 25 questions from the Serious Game that were presented to us online.<\/p>\n<h3>Awareness<\/h3>\n<p>We got to work enthusiastically with the aim of achieving a 100% score. With the questions we had to assess whether this was a discriminatory request from the client or not. Most of the questions were &#8220;open door&#8221; questions. It was difficult for a few questions and we really did have a little discussion because the question presented several angles. This made weighing what is now decisive more difficult to determine.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, we got three of the 25 questions wrong and we received a real certificate by email. The two most important lessons from this game (maybe there are more, but at least we&#8217;ll take these with us) are. A discriminatory request can arise from ignorance, so it is always good to enter into a dialogue with the client first. The second is that as a mediator we are part of a chain. We can \u201cdismantle\u201d a discriminatory request that prevents it from entering the market.<\/p>\n<h3>Wider view<\/h3>\n<p>Do you have a capacity demand that has not been fulfilled for a long time?
