Last Friday we picked up Emre and his partner at Schiphol. This is because Emre started remote yesterday as a Validation & Compliance Engineer at one of our relations. It was a bit short regarding timing, but in the end it all worked out.<\/p>\n
In March, after a positive conversation with our relation, we got the green light to start Emre. After that, all formalities could begin with regard to work and residence permits, housing and the relocation of the belongings. Due to the strongly increasing corona infections in Istanbul, the planning was slightly different.<\/p>\n
Due to the situation, the Dutch consulate was able to handle fewer cases than is normally. As a result, we were awaiting when an opportunity arose to pick up the MVV for Emre. Fortunately, all other matters were in order and completed on time. Once a possibility was available, it was all arranged quickly. This meant that the trip to The Netherlands could be booked.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, keys to the apartment were collected so that the family could immediately go into quarantine. This in accordance with the applicable guidelines. A number of other formalities can be arranged online and others can be done after the self-quarantine. This includes banking, registration at the municipality and a public transportation card.<\/p>\n
Due to the self-quarantine, the first week of work for Emre is also online. Only after a negative COVID-19 test for the family, he can also start working on site. Of course we wish Emre the best of luck with his new job and we thank him for his confidence in us!<\/p>\n
