A small proportion of TailorMinds’ colleagues are permanently employed. This sometimes results in a short \u201cbetween projects\u201d situation. Today, we would like to introduce you to an experienced and talented colleague. His name is Jo\u00e3o and he is available for a new project in Mechanical\/Validation Engineer with broad experience in commissioning, qualification, and maintenance in the pharmaceutical industry.<\/p>\n

My background and experience<\/span><\/h3>\n

I hold a Master\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have worked on several pharma projects in both the Netherlands and Portugal. My core skills include:<\/p>\n

Commissioning & Qualification (CQV), HVAC systems and clean\/dirty utilities, CAPEX budget support and change control, Validation protocols (URS, DQ, FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ), GMP-compliant documentation, Driving practical improvements in systems and equipment<\/p>\n

I enjoy understanding how things work and finding ways to improve them\u2014whether through better processes or smarter solutions.<\/p>\n

Some of the projects I\u2019m proud of<\/span><\/h3>\n

TEVA Haarlem as a E&M Engineer At TEVA, I initiated change controls and plan interventions with suppliers to reduce downtime and optimize equipment performance.<\/p>\n

Cryoport as a CQV Engineer, I qualified pharmaceutical equipment, created and reviewed URSs, IOQ protocols, and final validation reports\u2014all in line with GMP standards.<\/p>\n

Wacker Biotech as a CQV Engineer. I conducted P&ID walk-downs, executed FAT\/SAT\/IOQ, and resolved deviations, ensuring smooth commissioning and validation.<\/p>\n

Hikma Pharmaceuticals as a Mechanical Engineer. I qualified autoclaves, HVAC systems, and cleanrooms, while performing thermal mappings and calibrating critical instruments.<\/p>\n

What drives me<\/span><\/h3>\n

I\u2019m someone who is always eager to learn and grow. My experience with international projects taught me to adapt quickly and work efficiently with diverse teams. What excites me most is the combination of technical depth, quality assurance, and being part of pharmaceutical production that truly matters.<\/p>\n

Availability<\/span><\/h3>\n

I\u2019m immediately available for a new role as a Maintenance Engineer, Validation Engineer, or CQV Engineer in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting.
