Our Project Consultant Jo\u00e3o gave an internal training course on validation processes within the pharmaceutical industry. Normally and preferably, we have him (and he himself) working on project sites, but every now and then there is a period with no projects. It is up to us to fill this gap.<\/p>\n
As Recruitment Consultants, we regularly receive requests from clients regarding the commissioning, qualification, and validation of various types of equipment, processes, and facilities. However, none of us has this specific experience. In fact, none of us has a technical background and\/or training. So how great is it to have the available knowledge and expertise in-house and to be able to learn from it?<\/p>\n
Jo\u00e3o recently gave a training course on validation protocols, translating them to everyday equipment such as our printers. Terms such as URS, FAT\/SAT, and IQ\/OQ\/PQ now became clearer to us. With this newly acquired knowledge, we have a better understanding of what our colleagues and candidates deal with on a daily basis and how we can provide more substantive responses to specific requests from clients.<\/p>\n
We briefly mentioned that Jo\u00e3o is currently between projects. In our industry, most of our colleagues are assigned to projects with a clear start and end date. The majority of these colleagues are ultimately transferred to our client. Sometimes things turn out differently and a colleague may return to us on the \u2018bench\u2019.<\/p>\n
It is our job to find a follow-up project as quickly as possible, with the colleague trying to support us as much as possible at that time through internal training, technical interviews with candidates, and assistance with onboarding new foreign colleagues.<\/p>\n
