functie Vereisten
- HBO/BSc work and thinking level, preferably a relevant field of study such as Safety/Environment/Technology, Engineering or Management.
- A completed HVK training or integral safety science IVK or Management of Safety, Health & Environment MoSHE.
- Demonstrable experience in a comparable SHE role within a production environment.
- Experience with ISO systems, RI&E processes and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (national and international).
- Experience with crisis management, stakeholder management and skills in project management and budget management.

Werkzaamheden
Proactively advising plant management (PM) on safety, health and environment (SHE);- Representing the SHE function in the Management Team.
- Creating support for SHE strategies and action plans.
SHE strategy and management:
- Developing a strategic plan for SHE and sustainability.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and ISO standards.
- Developing and maintaining SHE policy, systems and standards.
- Performing RI&E and monitoring the follow-up of actions.
- Translating (inter)national legislation into local guidelines.
Issue and crisis management
- Managing risk analyses and issue registrations.
- Coordinating crisis approach and communication in the event of incidents.
Stakeholder management:
- Maintaining internal contacts and participating in relevant forums.
- Maintaining contacts with external stakeholders such as governments, NGOs and auditors.
- Supporting the development of corporate policy.
Project management and budget and personnel management:
- Manage the SHE project portfolio within time and budget.
- Manage the SHE budget and report on progress.
- Manage and coach the SHE Specialist.
