Last Friday, we celebrated the end of the year with a festive end-of-year dinner. This year, we were guests at Akkeroord in Waddinxveen. A four-course dinner was prepared and served for our colleagues and partners in an atmospheric setting. A look back at a pleasant evening with an international group.
Introduction
From 5:30 p.m., guests were able to get acquainted and catch up over a welcome drink and small snacks. Our colleagues are an internationally oriented group because they have emigrated to the Netherlands from different countries. They often work at locations spread across the Netherlands. We are still sometimes surprised at how “small” the world is because people meet again after their paths diverged earlier in their careers.
Looking back and looking ahead
Once everyone had arrived, it was time to sit down at the table. Arjan talked about how the year had gone for TailorMinds, a year full of challenges in a “tough” market. It is important to note that the outlook for personal health and business continuity in such a year is nevertheless satisfactory. This is in the knowledge that the organization has been structured over the past year. As a result, expectations for the coming year are positive.
As far as 2026 and 2027 are concerned, there are many changes on the agenda. These mainly concern the introduction of the new pension scheme, equal pay as a result of legislative changes, and the new NBBU collective labor agreement. Added to this are the preparations necessary to be able to enter the new permit system that will come into force in 2027.

The evening was organized with a twofold purpose. On the one hand, to thank our colleagues who are professionally filling a difficult vacancy at one of our clients and are exclusively taking the next step. On the other hand, there is a group of colleagues who are working on projects that we are privileged to carry out for our clients. Because our colleagues literally work all over the Netherlands, mainly on location, Arjan introduced them to each other with information about their role at their current client. This “icebreaker” contributed to a pleasant evening with good conversations and delicious food.
