As of October 1, we have a new colleague: Tamlynn. She will start as a QC Service Technician at one of our relations in the pharmaceutical industry. Usually it takes several proposals for a candidate to start on an assignment, with Tamlynn it was an instant hit on the first try.
Partner of
Getting to know Tamlynn was fairly easy: she is, in fact, the partner of one of our colleagues on another project. When emigrating, we prepare our colleagues from abroad for a future in the Netherlands on the basis of one person’s income. This is because from the beginning we only guarantee that we have a job for him/her. In this case this was a positive side effect where soon they will not only be partners but also colleagues on different projects.
The right person at the right time
The lead-up to the start of this project was quick. Our relationship was looking for a candidate to coordinate and assist on their QC project in the areas of work preparation and calibration activities. As is often the case, the desire was for someone preferably to start immediately.
Based on the profile requested, we saw a suitable match with Tamlynn. Since she is already in the Netherlands, reasonably close by, has the relevant experience and was available at short notice, things then went quickly to interviews. Within a week there was the green light for her to start on the project for which all formalities have now been arranged.
