Strategy for 2030

Last Friday, the operations team met in the office to further reflect on TailorMinds’ strategy for the next five years. After a constructive and instructive morning, we loosened our muscles later in the day during a game of padel. A recap of an interesting day.

Presentations

Taking turns, Noëmi, Peter, Arjan and Sander presented their views on the market and future expectations. In doing so, we used the same format. We started with a DESTEP analysis. DESTEP stands for: “Demographic, Economic, Socio-cultural, Technological, Ecological and Political/Legal. In short, it is a model for mapping an organization’s external environment. As a company, we do not directly influence the above factors, yet it is important to analyze this and understand what influences it can have on our business operations.

After this analysis, we identified the current and future situation using four Ps from the Marketing Mix, namely: Product, Price, Promotion and Personnel. The presentations here covered the current and expected situation.

Brainstorm

In the brainstorming session that followed, similarities, differences and recommendations from the various presentations were discussed. The previous session, over five years ago now, marked the name change from ProjectKwadraat to TailorMinds. The consequence of this session will not be as rigorous as it was then. What is clear, however, is that the market is perhaps more dynamic compared to previous years. For the follow-up, we will deliberately elaborate on a few components in the coming period and keep a close eye on the relationship with the other outcomes and the market.

One thing is certain: with these results, we will confidently continue to build on a successful future with the personal approach that characterizes TailorMinds.

Padel

When you sit still (too) long, it is good to get moving again. Following this strategy day, the team played a game of Padel at sports venue Dekker near our office. Here, as a team, we also said goodbye to Tiffany, who is leaving us for a new challenge. After some after-dinner drinks, it was time to enjoy the weekend.
