Our client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company, is building a brand-new manufacturing facility in the south of the Netherlands (Noord-Brabant). This is a fully greenfield project with an investment of over €100 million. The scope mainly covers new packaging lines, complemented by new utilities, cleanrooms and supporting systems.
To deliver the commissioning and qualification of all equipment, our client is looking for an experienced C&Q Manager who can start on short notice.
functie Vereisten
- Extensive experience in commissioning and qualification within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proven experience in a leading role (C&Q Manager or C&Q Lead) on large capital projects, preferably greenfield.
- Strong knowledge of packaging equipment; experience with utilities and cleanrooms is a plus.
- A strong personality with natural leadership: you are able to steer and challenge an experienced team.
- Solid understanding of GMP and qualification frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
- Available on short notice.

This is a fully greenfield project with an investment of over €100 million. The scope mainly covers new packaging lines, complemented by new utilities, cleanrooms and supporting systems.
To deliver the commissioning and qualification of all equipment, our client is looking for an experienced C&Q Manager who can start on short notice.
The role:
- As C&Q Manager, you are responsible for the full commissioning and qualification of the equipment within the new facility. You lead a team of 8 experienced C&Q engineers from the client's organisation and make sure the project is delivered on time, within budget and in line with GMP requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and motivate a team of 8 experienced C&Q engineers.
- Develop and own the C&Q strategy, planning and approach for packaging lines, utilities and cleanrooms.
- Oversee the execution of commissioning and qualification activities (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Ensure compliance with GMP, company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for C&Q within the project, working closely with project management, engineering, QA, operations and suppliers.
- Monitor progress, identify risks and drive timely resolution of issues.
- Ensure a smooth handover of qualified systems to operations.
