For a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, we are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with strong experience in Facilities and Utilities projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of engineering projects related to utilities, facilities and infrastructure within a GMP-regulated environment. You will manage multidisciplinary stakeholders and ensure that projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within budget.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or similarMinimum 7 to 10 years of experience in project engineering within pharmaceutical or highly regulated environments
Strong knowledge of facilities and utilities systems (e.g. HVAC, clean utilities, black utilities)
Experience with GMP environments and validation processes
Proven experience managing CAPEX projects and multidisciplinary teams
Strong understanding of engineering documentation (URS, P&IDs, layouts, specifications)
Experience with project planning and cost control
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage

Werkzaamheden
Lead and manage facilities and utilities projects from concept through design, construction and handoverDefine project scope, URS, design inputs and technical specifications
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and external contractors
Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS and engineering standards throughout all project phases
Manage project planning, cost control and risk mitigation
Oversee design reviews, HAZOPs and technical decision-making processes
Support procurement, vendor selection and contract management
Supervise installation and construction activities on site
Ensure proper commissioning, qualification (CQV) and validation of systems
Drive continuous improvement of utilities and facility systems
Ensure accurate documentation, handover and lifecycle management of installations
