Our client offers consulting- and engineering support for demanding, multidisciplinair projects in the biotech and life sciences industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Task-oriented, flexible, driven, well-organized, and possessing strong communication skills.
  • Hands-on mentality.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is desirable but not required.
  • NEN 3140 certification, or willingness to obtain it.
  • Preferably experience in the pharmaceutical industry, although this is not a requirement.
  • Preferably familiar with cGMP regulations.

Duties

For various projects, the construction of a new cold storage facility, the commissioning of two new packaging lines and various sustainability projects:

  • Responsible for the complete electrical installation infrastructure.
  • Responsible to define and setup all projects electrical scope requirements, that outline: applicable standards, design configurations to modify and/or extend the electrical installation infrastructure.
  • Responsible, reviewer and approver of all electrical detailed design documentation submitted by engineering/installation builder.
  • Oversee the physical construction progress on daily basis, ensure adherence of installation contractor to electrical agreements. Witness inspections and commissioning.
  • Monitor and supervise the Electrical Operations on daily basis.
  • Lead and oversee the development and implementation of electrical preventive maintenance and inspections programs.
  • Lead responsible and in collaboration with external specialized company for the Implementation Electrical Operational Safety Manual Policy, compliance with Dutch NEN 3140 and European EN 50110 standards.
  • Review and make switch procedures.
  • Approver of electrical work permits.
