Packaging Specialist

Client

Our client is a leading Project Management and Engineering company serving the pharmaceuticals industry around the world.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of engineering, or similar.
At least 5 years of experience directly related to packaging materials.
Proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry or similarly regulated field.
Experience or the ambition to lead teams and develop team members.
Independent thinker with demonstrated skills working in teams or leading project teams;
Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsible for the introduction of new products and technologies to the packaging operations as well as being SMEs that ensure the continued smooth running of the lines.
Management of new product introductions or transfers into the packaging line including characterization, functional testing and sample creation.
Working as part of the team that evaluates, recommends, and selects new packaging materials.
Part of the process monitoring team, analyzing data and investigating potential issues as well as implementing resolutions.
Assessing complex problems relating to process, equipment or materials and assist with recommending and implementing solutions.
Write test and characterization protocols, perform technical evaluations, and submit technical assessment reports.
Ensure all projects are managed within expected due dates, and provide read outs to senior management and the wider team.
Lead and present new packaging ideas and improvements to the Product Development team.
