Requirements

Required Experience

Proven experience as a Project Manager in pharmaceutical, biomaterials, biotech, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory.
Experience managing capital projects, plant expansions, new production facilities, or cleanroom-related projects.
Familiarity with Front-End Loading (FEL) project methodologies, preferably FEL 1-3.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience.
Experience working in international and multicultural project environments.
Fluent in both English and Dutch (spoken and written).

Duties

An experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic biomaterials new-build project currently in the FEL 2 (Conceptual Design) phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating stakeholders, driving project development, and ensuring effective communication across multiple disciplines and international locations.

This project involves the development of production facilities for lactic acid-based polymers, including a melt process line in the Netherlands and a bulk production line being constructed in USA. The project also includes the design and implementation of advanced box-in-box cleanroom environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the project from the conceptual design phase through execution and delivery.
Collect, align, and consolidate information from a wide range of stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Manage communication across engineering, operations, quality, manufacturing, and leadership teams.
Act as the central connector between teams, locations, and disciplines.
Drive stakeholder engagement and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external partners.
Balance project objectives with practical business needs through a pragmatic and flexible approach.
Coordinate activities between the facilities in the Netherlands and USA.
Ensure project progress, risk management, decision-making, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
