We will soon welcome Jeandré, a new colleague from South Africa. Jeandré will start at our relation as Project Engineer Utilities and Buildings. Meanwhile, the application for a work and residence permit with the IND has been completed and we have started with the remaining formalities in the Netherlands.
First meeting
The first acquaintance with Jeandré was following an application we received. He was made aware of TailorMinds through a colleague who had meanwhile started in the Netherlands. He indicated he was open to a new challenge in the Netherlands and we quickly decided to schedule an interview. In the positive conversation that followed, in addition to sharing mutual knowledge and experience on a personal level, we got an excellent impression of Jeandré. He indicated that he was very interested in making a move to the Netherlands for both professional and personal reasons. During our visit to South Africa, we were also able to meet in person at a cosy ‘braai’ at Jeandré’s home.
Fast process
Shortly after the first meeting, Jeandré got in touch with our relation. This relation was very interested in talking to him given his broad experience with technical pharmaceutical projects at a consultancy company. This conversation followed shortly afterwards in which some suitable options were discussed. Both Jeandré and our relation left a positive impression on each other and expressed interest in starting a collaboration. Shortly afterwards, this was confirmed and the contracts were signed. After a quick process, Jeandré will soon start as Project Engineer Utilities and Buildings.
Formalities
Meanwhile, IND procedure for a work and residence permit has already been completed. Jeandré has made his appointment at the embassy and, by mutual agreement, tickets can be booked for him and his family. We are currently preparing for their arrival in the Netherlands. In consultation, we are looking for suitable accommodation so that they can move into it immediately upon arrival. Naturally, we will welcome Jeandré and his family at Schiphol and guide them through the formalities that will follow, including registration at the municipality and collecting residence permits.
We’ll see each other in the Netherlands soon, Jeandré!
