Werkzaamheden
As a Maintenance Engineer Projects, you act as the link between Maintenance and Engineering. You ensure that maintenance requirements are incorporated from the initial design phase of new-build, renovation, and modification projects, enabling delivered installations to be operationally ready and GMP-compliant. In addition, you safeguard the availability and reliability of assets.
Through early involvement and your advisory role in developing the User Requirements Specification (URS) and design, you ensure smooth handovers from Engineering to Maintenance, with the right focus on maintainability, reliability, safety, service level agreements (SLAs), and spare parts management.
By taking a proactive approach as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC), you ensure that all drawings and documentation are completed, validated, and available in their as-built state before the final handover takes place. Your projects include both utility systems and specialized production equipment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Represent Maintenance in projects by participating in project teams at an early stage, reviewing URS documentation and designs, and assigning maintenance requirements to contractors and other executing parties.
- Act as the key interface between the Maintenance department and the project team, ensuring that all stakeholders complete their actions on time and remain properly informed.
- Advise on design for maintainability by defining maintenance requirements and verifying compliance by Engineering teams and contractors.
- Facilitate FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) workshops, define mitigation measures, and ensure follow-up by assigned action owners.
- Develop maintenance programs by initiating, reviewing, approving, and assigning execution ownership.
- Verify and prepare as-built documentation, including P&IDs, technical drawings, schematics, and CMMS data, for handover.
- Assess maintenance readiness by developing readiness checklists, providing commissioning and handover recommendations, and organizing training and knowledge transfer to operational teams.
- Coordinate change requests and decommissioning activities, lead risk assessments, and report maintenance risks, project progress, and KPIs to management.
