A dynamic start of 2026

After a somewhat quiet 2025, we at TailorMinds are looking forward with positive expectations to what 2026 will bring. Although the number of requests last year was comparable to previous years, achieving successful matches proved to be a lot more challenging.

Turnaround in 2025

Many requests in 2025 were withdrawn, filled internally, or postponed during the process. As a result, actual conversion lagged behind, despite our efforts and the supply of motivated and skilled engineers with whom we always enjoy working with.

Nevertheless, towards the end of 2025, we saw a clear change in the market. Whereas new projects had previously struggled to get off the ground, they slowly started to move again from October onwards. In addition, our efforts in new business development were rewarded. This enabled us to help a number of new clients fill vacancies that had been open for some time.

This positive trend continued into the last months of the year, when we were once again able to convert requests into concrete projects/placements. The confidence we had maintained all this time was rewarded — a theme that also recurred in other recent successes, as described in various news reports from the past period.

Continuation in 2026

The start of 2026 confirms this upward trend. We now have our hands full with new requests, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry and the energy transition. Not only is the number of requests increasing, but the follow-up is also promising: proposed profiles are being assessed quickly, interviews are being scheduled, and potential new projects are in the pipeline. The momentum that was previously lacking seems to have returned.

Based on these developments, we are optimistic about the rest of 2026. Of course, we remain alert to what is happening in the world — something we can never ignore in this market — but the signs are encouraging.
