We at TailorMinds recently welcomed an auditor from Normec. This time, a shortened NEN 4400 audit was on the agenda. We are proud to announce that we have once again successfully completed the audit.
NEN 4400
The certificate, which is awarded following a successful audit, provides clients with the assurance that we comply with all mandatory payments to the government. For clients who do business with us, this means they are protected from risks arising from the Chain Liability Act (WKA). For our employees, it means they are part of a company that has robustly organised its payroll processes and that they are not short-changed by attempts to exploit loopholes in the regulations.
Preparations for joining the TTA Act permitting system
At TailorMinds, we are working hard to prepare for joining the permit system. This audit was the penultimate assessment before accession becomes possible in 2027. In addition to supplementary regulatory requirements that will come into force when the Act enters into force, the implementation of equivalent remuneration is the greatest additional challenge. The main challenge lies in being able to objectively determine the results of the comparison, given the vast amount of information that needs to be compared. Internally, the processes have been further tailored to this and have now been proven to be in order. In addition, there are new tools on the market which are a useful addition for maintaining an overview.
Standard for reliability
Unfortunately, until the TTA Act comes into force, a level playing field is not yet a reality. There are still a number of companies operating in our sector that simply ignore the rules. This affects employees, client companies and ourselves. We operate on the principle that we do not need a certificate to demonstrate ethical business practice. However, over the past 15 years, the NEN4400 quality mark has developed to such an extent that one can safely say it is a standard for reliability.
