After a process that required considerable time, coordination, and patience, the moment has arrived: Éduan has arrived in the Netherlands. Next week, he will officially start his new position as Project Engineer at one of our clients in the pharmaceutical industry.
Smooth process
The international recruitment and immigration process often involves several phases, each with its own points of attention. In this case, the planning of the formalities surrounding the visa and residence permit went relatively smoothly. Thanks to thorough preparation and clear communication, these steps were completed efficiently, giving Éduan quick clarity about his stay and work in The Netherlands.
Housing challenge
However, as we often experience when onboarding our colleagues, the biggest challenge was not the formal procedures, but finding suitable housing. The Dutch housing market remains tight and requires flexibility, creativity, and perseverance. This was also an exciting part of the process for Éduan. Ultimately, our network once again proved its value: suitable accommodation was found on time, so that his arrival in the Netherlands could proceed without delay.
Ready to go
All the important practical matters have now been taken care of. The house keys have been collected, the residence permit has been obtained, a Dutch bank account has been opened and Éduan has been officially registered at the municipality. These are all necessary steps, not only to be able to work, but also to really feel at home and build a life here.
With all the preconditions in place, Éduan is now fully ready to go. Next week, he will start his new role as Project Engineer, in which he will apply his knowledge and experience to complex projects in the pharmaceutical sector. We look forward to seeing him at work and following his development in this new environment.
