I’m Hüseyin Gebecik, a professional with a rich background in Genetics, Bi engineering, and Master of Business Administration. I can speak Turkish (native), English (professional) and Dutch at A1 level. I am highly motivated to improve my knowledge of the Dutch language. Over the past four years, I have gained extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working in diverse roles including Project Management, Bioprocess Engineering, and Validation Engineering (CQV). Currently, I am based in the Netherlands, serving as a Project Consultant at TailorMinds.
Work experience
My career began in marketing and sales, where I developed strong communication and strategic skills. I then transitioned into roles that allowed me to leverage my technical expertise and passion for innovation.
Downstream Process (DSP) Engineer:
In my role as a DSP Process Engineer, I gained extensive hands-on experience with critical downstream bioprocess technologies, including chromatography systems, tangential flow filtration, and single-use systems. My responsibilities spanned the development and commercial production phases, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance with cGMP standards.
Key achievements in this role include:
- Contributing to the domestic COVID-19 vaccine project by optimizing downstream purification processes.
- To take part in the installation of the biotechnology facility and to carry out equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ) qualifications studies.
- Conducting CIP/SIP procedures to maintain equipment and process integrity.
- Writing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Instruction and Validation reports for downstream operations and the Biotechnology facility.
- Participating in environmental monitoring studies and risk assessments to ensure cleanroom compliance.
These experiences allowed me to develop a deep understanding of biopharmaceutical manufacturing, problem-solving in dynamic environments, and strict adherence to quality standards.
Project Specialist:
During my time as a Project Specialist, I was responsible for observing the lifecycle of new pharmaceutical products, from project kick-off to market launch.
My responsibilities include supporting project managers with feasibility studies, risk assessments and ensuring that projects adhere to timelines and quality standards. I was also responsible for SAP processes. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, I have improved effective communication and my problem-solving skills.
