Last week, our team expanded with the addition of a new Consultant with a background in the technical labor market. In this blog, Patrick briefly introduces himself and tells us more about his career and motivation:
More about Patrick
For years, Patrick’s career has revolved around finding, connecting, and guiding technical talent. The foundation for this was laid early on in the Royal Netherlands Navy, where he first came into contact with recruitment and selection. That experience was the starting point for a career focused on people and technology.
After his time in the Navy, he made the switch to the temporary employment sector, where he started as an intermediary. He quickly advanced at two specialized secondment agencies active in the (Petro)chemical industry. During that period, he gained about 10 to 15 years of experience in an environment where technical personnel are central to the success of organizations.
A next step
He recently decided to actively look into opportunities to return to this field professionally. That is how he came into contact with TailorMinds. What immediately appealed to him was that our activities fit seamlessly with his background, while at the same time offering new challenges. Think, for example, of the focus on other sectors, such as the pharmaceutical industry. The international diversity of candidates and the personal approach also appealed to him immediately.
