We are happy to welcome soon a new colleague from South Africa: Lee. She will be joining one of our relations as a Manufacturing Process Engineer. We got to know her during our visit to Port Elizabeth last November. After that, her first interview was a direct hit and we get approval for her project in the Netherlands.
Getting to know Lee
The contact with Lee came about after she applied for our visit to Port Elizabeth. One of our current colleagues had previously worked with her and indicated that we would certainly appreciate her qualities. In the conversation it was immediately clear that she had set her sights on a position in the Netherlands. Or as in her words, ‘my documents are ready, my suitcase is packed. When do we leave?
First opportunity, instant success
In December, we received a request from one of our relations for a Process Engineer focused on improving MES with a strong QA background. This sounded like a request for a candidate with many talents, for her it sounded like her daily work. An invitation for an interview followed which she successfully passed. In early January, her start for the project was approved. In other words, first time right and for us the first contracted colleague from the South Africa project. The process for her to come to the Netherlands could begin.
The emigration process
Lee had already indicated that she was ready for an assignment in the Netherlands, given the preparations she had already made with her papers. However, the process with a visa, banking, housing and etc. is a lot more extensive than a few documents. Therefore, we offer her support in the entire process by indicating which documents are needed for which purpose, accommodating her upon arrival in the Netherlands and arranging the formalities in the Netherlands.
We wish her success with the last bits in South Africa and look forward to welcoming her in the Netherlands soon!
