Yesterday Dexter visited the Biotech Training Facility to get trained in the basics of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Equipment Qualification and Drug Product Manufacturing, Testing, Review and Release.
Cleanroom
During the training Dexter was explained which rules and standards apply in the biopharmaceutical industry and why they are so important. In the second half of the training, Dexter was also allowed to enter a number of simulated cleanrooms, of course in an appropriate cleanroom gown. During this tour, explanations were given about the present cleanroom equipment and there was the opportunity to experience under which circumstances and regulations people work in cleanrooms.
Technical language
