Last week, we welcomed our new colleague Navid to the Netherlands. Navid is an experienced Mechanical Engineer from Iran with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. Over the years, he has developed extensive expertise in HVAC, utilities, and cleanroom engineering, areas that are highly valued within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments and Life Sciences projects.
From First Contact to a New Opportunity
At the end of August, we first connected with Navid. He had the ambition to continue his career in Europe and was exploring opportunities within the Dutch market. During our conversations, it quickly became clear that his knowledge and experience aligned well with the organizations we work with. Shortly afterward, we received a vacancy for a Project Engineer Clean Utilities, a position that matched both his background and career ambitions almost perfectly.
Following an introduction, two interviews with the client took place. Both Navid and the client were immediately enthusiastic. The positive outcome followed swiftly: in September, both parties reached an agreement, allowing the next stage of the journey to begin.
An International Relocation with a detour
After signing the contract, the relocation process to the Netherlands began. As is often the case with international placements, the process involved much more than simply starting a new job.
This time, Navid’s route to the Netherlands went through Tbilisi, Georgia. Due to the temporary operational closure of the Dutch embassy in Tehran, several procedures had to be arranged from there. Despite this unexpected detour, the process continued smoothly and efficiently.
From our first contact at the end of August to reaching an agreement in September, Navid arrived in the Netherlands as early as October. It is a great example of what can be achieved when all parties are fully committed to making a placement successful.
Ready for a Successful Start
Navid has now arrived in the Netherlands, and many practical matters have already been arranged, including housing, municipal registration, collecting his residence permit, and opening a bank account.
We believe this stage is just as important as finding the right position. A successful start is not only about work, but also about settling comfortably into a new country and a new environment.
Looking Ahead to a Bright Future
Next week, Navid will officially begin his role as Project Engineer Clean Utilities. With his experience in HVAC, utilities, and cleanroom projects, we are confident that he will make a valuable contribution to his new employer. We would like to thank Navid for placing his trust in TailorMinds and wish him every success and enjoyment in this exciting new chapter of his career.
From first contact in August, to an agreement in September, arrival in the Netherlands in October, and a start date in November, this has been a fast-moving journey that demonstrates what is possible when expertise, ambition, and the right organization come together.
