Shane

See you soon Shane

Soon we expect to welcome a new colleague from South Africa: Shane. He will start working in February as a Validation & Compliance Engineer at one of our relations in the pharmaceutical industry.

Getting to know Shane

We met Shane through one of our current colleagues. They already knew each other from university in South Africa where they did their studies together. Based on the positive stories, Shane also showed interest in the options in the Netherlands. An introductory meeting with us followed where it quickly became clear that there are enough similarities between his qualities and our services.

GMP in cosmetics and supplementation

Finding the right options for Shane was an interesting one afterwards. Shane does have experience with GMP, however within cosmetics and supplementation. This meant he had not yet worked at a pharmaceutical company, but under the same guidelines and standards. It became a search for a position and client where he could also apply his relevant knowledge and skills within the Dutch pharmaceutical industry.

In early October a suitable vacancy became available to which he was invited. After two positive interviews, we received confirmation that he had been hired for this position. In other words, the process of coming to the Netherlands started.

The formalities

By now the contracts have been signed and we are preparing for Shane’s arrival. The application for a highly skilled migrant visa has been submitted, the search for suitable housing has begun and Shane is wrapping up his affairs in South Africa. Once in the Netherlands, we hope to have most of the formalities arranged for him and/or to have in the agenda.

Interested?

Do you also work in an industry where GMP is applied and might you be interested in opportunities within the pharmaceutical? Feel free to contact us to look at the possibilities together.
