At the end of November, we expect to welcome our upcoming colleague from South Africa: Dominic. He will start December 1st at one of our clients as an Engineering Consultant in the Dutch (bio)pharmaceutical industry.
Introduction
Through our network we came in contact with Dominic. After a positive reference from this network, he was curious about the possibilities through TailorMinds. A few conversations later during which we discussed processes, clients and expectations, we started looking at the possibilities for him. Through a client, we received an application that seemed to fit his profile.
Interviews soon followed with the desired result: Dominic could start working! This meant that the processes for him and his family could begin.
Formalities
Meanwhile, we have started the formalities for his family. Dominic has chosen to come to The Netherlands on his own first to get all his affairs in order. In the country of origin, his partner will handle formalities.
Finding suitable housing remains a difficult task in the Netherlands. Fortunately for him, we have a long lead time which gives us more time and options. In this we facilitate him with searching for houses, doing viewings via video call and finally going through the rental agreement together.
Before the end of November, everything will be put in the agenda regarding opening a bank account, picking up his residence permit and registration with the municipality. In the meantime, we wish Dominic good luck with the settlement in South Africa and look forward to seeing him soon.
