Last Friday, we closed the year festively with a well-prepared end-of-year dinner. Together with possible partners, we were guests at Hofstede Meerzigt in Zoetermeer. A four-course dinner was prepared and served in an atmospheric ambiance. A review of a pleasant evening with an international group.
Drinks and bites
From 17:00 onwards, it was possible to meet and catch up over drinks and bites. The work field of engineers is extensive. Yet we are sometimes surprised how ‘small’ this world is because people who have known each other for a long time bump into each other again on an occasion like this. Sometimes after being out of the picture for years. Despite a number of colleagues arriving later due to long travel times or traffic jams, the atmosphere of conviviality did not suffer.

The evening was mainly about expressing our thanks to our colleagues who work professionally on the assignments we are allowed to carry out for our clients. Because the projects are literally on location throughout the Netherlands, the colleagues were introduced to each other with information about their role in the current assignment. This ‘icebreaker’ helped to create a pleasant evening with good conversations and good food. It was an evening that was quickly over before you knew it.
