This year TailorMinds exists twelve and a half years. We celebrated this last Saturday by organizing a day at the Efteling theme park together with colleagues, their partners and children. A short review.
A very wet day
Last Saturday morning our colleagues and their family members were welcomed at the entrance of the Efteling. For many of the expats this was their first introduction to the Efteling. As a side note, we had a particularly wet day because the weather was not really cooperating. Yet we noticed that this should not spoil the fun, everyone was well prepared because of the weather forecast. For those colleagues who could use it we had brought extra umbrellas. With more than 100 people in total, the visit to the Efteling could begin.
Gift card
At the entrance we spoke briefly to everyone. For our colleagues, in addition to the entrance tickets to the Efteling, a gift card for food and drinks during the day was also available. Then everyone went off in groups or with their own families. For the people who were alone and found it fun to go together, small groups were formed.
Positive feedback
During the rest of the day it was continually surprising to suddenly meet another colleague at various attractions, mostly recognizable by the TailorMinds umbrella. At the end of the afternoon everyone went home, wet but satisfied. We received many apps and emails enthusiastically referring to a very entertaining day.
