Recently we have welcomed many new colleagues from outside the Netherlands, but now we would like to introduce Tessa, a colleague from our own country. She will soon start at our client as Product Surveillance Officer.
Background
The first contact with Tessa was made in connection with another vacancy. However, this vacancy turned out to be almost filled, but Tessa proved to have a broader interest and experience. After graduating with a BSc in Life Science, she mainly gained laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical industry. In addition to lab work, Tessa also had to deal with quality tasks, which she performed with great interest and enthusiasm. The next step in her career will be in Quality Assurance. At our client, she will mainly be dealing with complaint handling, analysing data and processing them in the quality systems.
Quality Assurance
Quality Assurance is a broad and important discipline within the pharmaceutical industry that runs like a thread through every organisation. Complying with set standards, checking the processes and performing internal and external audits, quality is everywhere. You will gain experience in this mainly by doing a lot of ‘kilometres’. But with a quality-oriented attitude, a dose of accuracy and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders, you are an indispensable link in the organisation.
