A new start for Manuel

A new start for Manuel. We often report on new international colleagues who are starting work at one of our clients. For these expats we go through the IND procedure and take care of a complete onboarding in the Netherlands. But expats don’t always come from far away. This time we mediated for Manuel, a Belgian Production Supervisor.

Procedure

We came into contact with Manuel after he responded to one of our vacancies. This vacancy did not appear to be the right one at the time but we immediately moved on to another option. This was more in line with his knowledge and experience in a pharmaceutical production environment. Manuel’s response was enthusiastic and we decided to present his profile to our client. An invitation for an introductory meeting followed quickly, which, in view of the current corona situation, could take place physically on location. After a positive first interview, a second and third round of interviews quickly followed.

Mediation

Normally, TailorMinds is the employer for a certain period of time, after which the employee can be taken over according to the agreements made. In addition, we mediate specialists who are deployed on a project basis. Our client’s wish was to employ someone directly for this vacancy. This was also discussed with Manuel beforehand so that he was well informed about this procedure. Clear agreements about this mediation were made beforehand.

Manuel has now started in his new role of All-round Manufacturing Coordinator. We wish him lots of success with his new employer!
