Last week we welcomed our new colleague from Turkey: Berkay. He started last Monday as Qualification & Validation Engineer at one of our relations. That meant another great process for us to start!
Family Circle
We met Berkay a year ago. He was visiting his cousin, also one of our colleagues. Since Berkay also has experience as a Validation Consultant in the pharmaceutical industry, the family visit to the Netherlands also became an introduction to us. After a good meeting, it was clear that there are opportunities for him in the Netherlands as well. Based on that, the search for a position in the Netherlands started.
Perseverance wins
As with almost any job search, timing is often important when it comes to making the right match. This means the right position, at the right time with a positive connection with the interviewee. In 2022, several interviews were not yet successful. Until a project was available in September that was right on many levels. After two interviews, a start in the Netherlands was confirmed which allowed the process of coming to the Netherlands to begin.
Action list
This meant we could get to work on the long action list. The visa application went well, the plane tickets were booked and the first appointments for some formalities in the Netherlands were made. By now Berkay is in the Netherlands and has started his project. We are currently busy looking for housing while he has a temporary residence.
In addition, Berkay got married at the beginning of October. Coincidentally, his wife also works as an engineer in pharmaceutical industry. Based on this there are positive meetings with her about joining TailorMinds. More about this later.
