Today colleague Dexter had a catch-up with Lieke. At the beginning of April Lieke started as a Validation & Compliance Engineer at the customer. Time to catch up.
Progress interview
A progress interview takes place every six to eight weeks. We ask how work is going and if someone needs support on our part. For us it is important to understand how you experience a job and whether you continue to get enough energy from your work. If this is not the case, a conversation offers the opportunity to discuss the situation substantively and to coach a colleague where possible.
Adjustment in the first weeks
It was important for Lieke to follow training courses in the first weeks and to become more familiar with the organization where she works. Unfortunately this could not be done on location due to the lockdown, but our customer managed to organize training courses that Lieke could follow at home. Lieke has now gone through her probationary period and is looking forward to actually participating on the work floor and meeting her colleagues personally. Because of the corona measures, this conversation took place online. Less personal and cozy this way? We didn’t think so!
