Guidance emigration process of Martin

Martin and TailorMinds signed a service agreement to guide him and his family through the process of emigrating to the Netherlands. The goal is to welcome Martin and the family to the Netherlands by the end of January. The guidance emigration process of Martin has started.

For everything there is a first time

Normally, we report that we are going to welcome a new colleague and accompany him/her to the Netherlands as a highly skilled migrant. In Martin’s case, this is slightly different. He will be a South African highly skilled migrant in the Netherlands, but not an employee of TailorMinds. Despite the fact that we have been in contact for a long time, Martin has found a job in the Netherlands himself.

Based on the good contacts with TailorMinds, he asked if we could support him in their emigration process. Since we often arrange things for expats, whereby good guidance is a big part of it, we are happy to do so. For us, it is the first time that we only provide support in the emigration process, apart from being the employer.

Guidance

The guidance focuses mainly on housing, preparation of the move, the arrival and formalities in the Netherlands and answering or solving other questions. The application for the visa is arranged by the future employer, who is also the sponsor. In order to make the process as efficient as possible, we assist not only Martin but also his new employer in the IND procedure.

The first steps have already been taken and there is still a lot to be done. On the basis of close cooperation, we hope to give the entire family a soft landing in the Netherlands. We look forward to working together and hope to welcome Martin and his family soon!
