With regularity, TailorMinds has conversations with both applicants and independents for challenging vacancies or projects. If a cooperation is project-based, we keep in frequent contact afterwards. Thus, a successful collaboration from the past may be followed up again. Olav started his assignment in early 2022.
Relevant opportunity
If you have worked together before, you know what fits well and what doesn’t. When a relevant opportunity arises, you know how to find each other quickly and you often only need a few words to switch gears. That was also the case with this project. For the support of an Engineering Manager, an experienced Sr. Project Manager was sought who could act as an operational coach in addition to relevant engineering projects. This sometimes required presence on site in Germany or Ireland.
Remote introductory meeting
After a telephone conversation, sharing the description of the project and the management challenge, the introductory meeting with the client was arranged. After several meetings with the client, there appeared to be an excellent match and the green light was given for the start of this project. The project is already ongoing for a few months, we still have regular contact and both the client and the independent contractor are satisfied.
