NEN 4400 audit in a new style

Last Monday, we had the NEN 4400 audit at TailorMinds. The audit was conducted according to the new style. We are proud to report that the result was good.

New style

The NEN 4400 standard, like any reliable quality mark, is constantly evolving. The aim of this movement is to keep improving quality. From 13 February this year, all companies affiliated to the standard are subject to an audit that will look at more than just the results. Full inspections carried out will test both the design, existence and operation of processes. The result affects the follow-up inspection. The better the processes are secured or automated in writing, the better. If inspection shows that this works well, it follows that the company has secured the risks, which will make a follow-up inspection less demanding. The consequence of this working method is that affiliated companies are better “rewarded” for their process-based approach.

Good result

New style also meant delivering many more documents and descriptions as evidence during the audit. This meant we had to work hard to complete everything on time. At the end of the day, we found that we had passed the audit with good results.

Confidence-building

In our market, staffing agencies and secondment firms are regularly portrayed in a negative perspective. Government and social partners are discussing certification and more stringent legislation, which will certainly contribute positively to the sector’s image in the future. Trust increasingly, companies that stand for honest entrepreneurship are NBBU members and voluntarily adopt the NEN 4400 standard. This opens up the intention to set everything up in accordance with laws and regulations.
