Summary of 10th of July

Last Friday the name change took place from ProjectKwadraat to TailorMinds. This was organized in combination with the farewell of former colleague Derk Jan and the annual summer barbecue.

Name change

After ProjectKwadraat’s knowledge network event in March 2019, a seed has been planted. One of the colleagues pointed out that ProjectKwadraat does more than what the name says. A tailor-made recruitment company was appointed. Since it did not let us go, we continued with this. After a brainstorming and strategy session, it was concluded that ProjectKwadraat no longer fully covered our activities. Partly because the focus has increasingly shifted to internationals bringing them to the Netherlands for a long time, it was also striking that the name ProjectKwadraat turned out to be a tongue-twister for them. Through the network of marketing agency PONCK we came up with the name TailorMinds. Tailor for customization what we deliver time and time again. Minds focuses on coaching on work behavior where energy is the starting point above “right” or “wrong”. In the past six months, we have gone through a process for a new website, a new logo, supplemented with a new house style, with 10th of July being the moment of transition. After Arjan’s presentation, the new name, logo and website were presented to those who were present and the new name has been in active ever since.

Goodbye Derk Jan

Former colleague Derk Jan continued his career elsewhere in March after more than six years of cooperation. We would have liked to say goodbye around the time of departure. Unfortunately, the lockdown blocked this. As the lockdown was opening up in the last month, July 10th seemed like a good date not to let this go unnoticed. Also because Derk Jan had a very large share in the preparation of the new website after the departure announcement. Arjan thanked Derk Jan on behalf of TailorMinds for the good cooperation, the valuable input and collegiality in recent years.

Summer barbecue

To conclude, there was the summer barbecue. The food was prepared with a real braai and thanks to the measures we had someone who put the food on our plates for us. Despite the measures such as keeping a distance, people managed to find each other at the tables. Sometimes there was a renewed meeting with (former) colleagues and sometimes new connections were made. We thank Kameryck for the delicious food, the good preparation and the pleasant service.
