Welcome in the Netherlands Phila! After we announced the arrival of our new colleague Phila in February, we could finally welcome her in the Netherlands. Phila will soon start in her new position of Validation & Compliance Engineer at one of our clients.
Flawless procedure
In anticipation of the ongoing IND procedure, Phila was busy in South Africa preparing for her arrival in the Netherlands. In the meantime, we kept regular contact with her regarding the status of the procedure. Phila had the necessary documents available so we could start the application for her residence permit. Shortly after submitting the application, the IND gave its approval so that she could finally prepare for her arrival in the Netherlands. In this case we can speak of a flawless procedure. Partly because there are no further restrictions because of the current corona measures.
Housing
In close contact with Phila we were busy on our side with the preparations for her arrival. Our priority was to find suitable housing. As usual, we visited the house and showed it via video call. This time we can also speak of a quick and efficient procedure. We were able to find a suitable home that is a stone’s throw from her work and her daughter’s new school. In the meantime she has been able to move into the house.
Next steps
The next steps have now been taken to start the formalities that need to be arranged. The appointments for the registration with the municipality and the collection of her residence permit have been made. We will then support Phila in applying for a bank account and arranging the 30% ruling. Phila can now prepare for her first work experience in the Netherlands. We wish her all the best!
