Last Monday, we picked up our new colleague Madelein and her partner at Schiphol. She will start 1 September as Validation Engineer at one of our clients in the pharmaceutical industry.
Preparation
We already had contact with Madelein a year ago, but her partner was receiving a promotion in South Africa at that time. She said she would postpone coming to the Netherlands. We agreed to meet again at the end of last year to look at the current situation. We brought her into contact with our relationship after which several conversations followed. These resulted in a positive outcome and the opportunity for Madelein to work as a Validation Consultant.
Arrival in the Netherlands
Upon arrival at Schiphol Airport we were ready to welcome Madelein and her partner. Together with their luggage, the first destination was their new home in Noordwijk.
By now, the first important matters have been arranged, including housing and registration with the municipality. The next priorities are to collect her residence permit and to open a Dutch bank account. The appointments are already in the diaries, so for now the onboarding is going well.
