We will soon welcome Siyabonga, our new colleague from South Africa. Siyabonga will join one of our relations as Validation & Compliance Engineer. The application for a work and residence permit with the IND has been submitted, we are now waiting for the approval.
First meeting
A few months ago we met Siyabonga for the first time after he responded to a vacancy. We invited him for an initial interview to do a joint introduction. In this, we were able to discuss his acquired knowledge and experience, as well as get a good personal picture of him. Siyabonga was very interested in finding a new challenge in the Netherlands and the added value of TailorMinds. He was able to explain very well what his motivation was and why he was ready for a step outside South Africa.
Introduction to relation
Shortly after the first meeting, we introduced Siyabonga to our client. At that time the client was looking for validation specialists, which fit well with Siyabonga’s experience. The job interview followed shortly thereafter where he was given the opportunity to present himself both professionally and personally. This interview discussed which position best suited him. There was a positive impression from both sides and a second interview soon followed. After that, however, it took some time before the cooperation was formalized. After the ‘official’ green light was given, the contracts were signed and the procedure started.
IND procedure
Siyabonga will soon come to the Netherlands as a highly skilled migrant. The IND procedure for a work and residence permit has started and is waiting for approval. In addition, we are currently preparing for his arrival in the Netherlands. We have regular contact to discuss the progress of the process and to prepare other formalities. These formalities include making appointments with the IND and the municipality. We are also working on finding a suitable home for Siyabonga.
